Events at Riverside Treasures for February 2023

Welcome Friends! Riverside Treasures & Enchantments has lots happening in February 2023. Besides lots of new & exciting inventory in the shop, we are offering several new classes this month.

On February 9, from 6:30-7:30 pm, Karin Lieberman of Avila Aromatics will be offering a class in Aromatherapy. We will discuss and experience 4 different essential oils to create an Aromatherapy Inhaler. An Aromatherapy Inhaler (made with your choice of essential oils) can calm, ground or lift yours or someone else’s spirits. You will set an intention, sample aromas and blend! Karin Lieberman is a holistic esthetician in Milford, NJ. She has been a practicing aromatherapist as well for the past nine years. She is a graduate of the New York Institute of Aromatherapy. She is the owner of Avila Aromatics a skincare and aromatherapy studio.There are six spaces available. The class is $35. On February 11 Auset Majii returns to do Tarot readings from 12-5. Please call James if you have any questions or to book a session at 917-536-6303. 30 minute readings are $100. One hour reading is $200.

In the evening of February 11, Auset Majii will be teaching a Love Magic Class in honor of Valentines Day. Instruction includes candle magic, use of oils, herbs & teas, folk magic, incantations to Venus & more. The class is from 6-8pm. The cost is $35. Brigid will be returning to Riverside Treasures on February 19 & 26 from 12-5 to offer tarot readings. Brigid has been reading Tarot and practicing other divination systems since 1987. Drawing on her own life experience and expertise in both spiritual and academic disciplines, Brigid’s passion lies in helping people move through transitions in their lives in meaningful and authentic ways by addressing emotional and spiritual issues that are inherited from society. Her approach to Tarot readings reflects this, as she customizes each reading according to client needs using different Tarot decks, Cartouche cards (Egyptian), Lenormand, Norse runes, and other systems as appropriate. Readings can be very general or very specifically focused. 

 

Brigid also provides teaching, podcasts, stories and research that give people a different way of looking at their own fears and biases. Brigid has a background in Religion and Psychology (M.A. in Religion and Psychology, and D.Litt. in Literary Studies, focusing on death attitudes and the Feminine in depth psychology), and has taught university Religion and Mythology courses since 2008.
