The craft of making copper coated iron bells is still practiced in Bhuj, India. Our artisan Luhar takes recycled metal sheets and uses the most basic hand tools to turn them into bells. His entire family is involved in this bell making process. Luhar perfects the bells and tunes them until they produce the desired sound. Luhar's family receives fair wages for handcrafting these lovely bells.
Pass on love and equality to show that with a fair trade you can change the world of one artisan at a time!
